Clinical Social Worker, Provider

Austin Jain-Conti is an impassioned clinical social worker with Jeanes Mental Health Services. He is dedicated to using his empathetic and clinical skill sets to form a rich therapeutic relationship with his clients. Drawing from his diverse work experience, Austin helps clients meet their goals and become their best selves.

After teaching in New York City, Austin shifted to non-traditional education and then into therapy. His teaching experience provides Austin with unique insights into the challenges of forming one’s identity, navigating personal and professional conflicts, and managing family tensions. Austin specializes in working with immigrants and first-generation Americans, as well as individuals with disabilities.

Austin is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies—approaches that are backed by research and shown to be effective in treating concerns like anxiety, depression, and trauma. He primarily uses Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and is also a holistic therapist who emphasizes life skills, wellness, and practical coping strategies. Austin is currently expanding his clinical training with additional instruction in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This diverse toolkit allows him to meet clients where they are, offering support with patience, flexibility, and genuine care.

Austin approaches therapy as a place for honest reflection, personal discovery, and forward movement. He helps clients make sense of their past, recognize the strengths they already carry, and build a future that aligns with their values and goals.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
