Jocelyn Jimenez-Ruiz, Associate Counselor
Clinical Therapist, Provider
Jocelyn Jimenez-Ruiz is a mental health counselor at Jeanes Mental Health Services (JMHS) who works with individuals dealing with trauma, relationship challenges, and patterns that continue to repeat despite their efforts to change them. Many of her clients understand what’s happening in their lives but struggle to identify why those patterns persist or how to shift them.
Her approach focuses on identifying the underlying drivers of these patterns rather than only addressing surface-level symptoms. Jocelyn uses Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients examine early experiences, improve how they relate to others, and develop practical skills for managing emotions and distress.
In sessions, Jocelyn is steady, thoughtful, and direct. She creates an empathetic environment where clients can look more closely at what’s been driving their behavior, gain clarity, and begin making changes that carry into their daily lives. Her work emphasizes depth, consistency, and follow-through over time.
At JMHS, Jocelyn tailors her work to each individual, helping clients address trauma, improve relationships, and respond to challenges more effectively and intentionally.
Clinical services are available in both English and Spanish.
