Mackenzie Earp, LMSW
Clinical Social Worker, Provider
Mackenzie Earp, LMSW, is a clinical social worker with Jeanes Mental Health Services (JMHS). For Mackenzie, therapy is a partnership. She believes some of the most meaningful work happens when clients feel comfortable enough to be honest about where they are, while also feeling encouraged to think about where they want to go.
Mackenzie works with clients of all ages and especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. She has a particular interest in anxiety, trauma, identity development, and the challenges that can come with major periods of change.
Mackenzie knows that sometimes you need a place to talk through what is happening without feeling judged or rushed. Other times, you need someone who will help you recognize a pattern, look at something differently, or ask the question you may have been avoiding. She believes good therapy has room for both.
Drawing from CBT and DBT, Mackenzie helps clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another and how small changes can begin to shift patterns that have become difficult to break. She focuses on helping clients develop skills they can actually use outside of the therapy room.
Mackenzie wants her clients to feel supported throughout therapy, but she also wants them to reach a point where they no longer need that support. Her hope is that clients finish therapy with a better understanding of themselves, greater confidence in their own abilities, and tools they can continue using well beyond their last session.
