Maya Citron, APC
Clinical Therapist, Provider
Maya Citron, APC, is an associate professional counselor at Jeanes Mental Health Services (JMHS). She is recognized for her thoughtful, grounded approach and commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s transitions with confidence and purpose. Maya brings both warmth and practicality to her work, focusing on creating meaningful progress for every client she serves.
With a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Maya integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Her work emphasizes helping clients gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and make choices that align with their values.
Maya creates a supportive environment where clients feel heard and encouraged to explore their experiences without judgment. She believes therapy should be both collaborative and empowering—helping clients identify what’s within their control and take steady, achievable steps toward growth.
Inspired by her grandfather, who was also a mental health professional, Maya is proud to continue that tradition of service by helping others live fuller, more balanced lives. Her approach reflects compassion, respect, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity to change and heal.
Join Maya at Jeanes Mental Health Services and take the next step toward building resilience, rediscovering confidence, and improving your overall well-being.
