Anxiety Treatment
You don't have to white-knuckle it.
Anxiety has a way of showing up everywhere at once, racing thoughts at 2 a.m., a tight chest before a meeting, avoiding things you used to do without a second thought. It can feel like your mind is working against you. If that's where you are right now, you're not overreacting, and you're not stuck this way.
At Jeanes Mental Health Services, we provide compassionate, evidence-based anxiety treatment through secure telehealth, so you can get support from wherever you are in Georgia or North Carolina.
What Anxiety Can Look Like
Anxiety shows up differently from person to person. Some of the most common experiences we help people work through include:
Constant worry that's hard to switch off
Panic attacks, racing heart, or trouble catching your breath
Specific fears or phobias that limit what you'll do
Social anxiety or a fear of being judged
Muscle tension, restlessness, or trouble sleeping
Avoiding people, places, or situations to feel safe
If several of these sound familiar, or you've just felt "on edge" more than you'd like, that's enough reason to reach out.
How We Help
Our therapists use evidence-based approaches tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all script.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We work together to identify the anxious thought patterns driving your worry and build more balanced, workable ways of thinking.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Rather than fighting anxious thoughts and feelings, you'll learn to make room for them while still moving toward the life and values that matter to you.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills: For anxiety that comes with intense emotional swings, we teach practical skills for regulation, distress tolerance, and staying present.
Individual and group support: Some people do best one-on-one. Others find real relief in connecting with others who understand. We offer both.
Insurance & Access
We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and TRICARE. Coverage varies by state and plan, and we're happy to help you check your eligibility before your first session.
Why Telehealth Works
Anxiety can make it hard to even leave the house some days, let alone sit in a waiting room. Telehealth removes that barrier entirely. You get the same quality of care from your therapist, on your schedule, without the added weight of a commute.
