Depression Treatment

You don't have to carry this alone.

Depression can make even ordinary days feel heavy. Getting out of bed, staying connected to people you love, finding interest in things that used to matter, all of it can start to feel like more than you have to give. If that sounds familiar, you're not broken, and you're not out of options.

At Jeanes Mental Health Services, we provide compassionate, evidence-based depression treatment through secure telehealth, so you can get support from wherever you are in Georgia or North Carolina.

What Depression Can Look Like

Depression doesn't show up the same way for everyone. Some of the most common signs we help people work through include:

  • Persistent low mood or a sense of numbness

  • Loss of interest in things you used to enjoy

  • Changes in sleep, appetite, or energy

  • Difficulty concentrating or making decisions

  • Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, or hopelessness

  • Withdrawing from relationships or responsibilities

If you're noticing several of these, or you've just had a feeling that something isn't right, that's reason enough to reach out.

How We Help

Our therapists use evidence-based approaches tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all script.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We work together to identify the thought patterns feeding your depression and build more balanced, workable ways of thinking.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Rather than fighting difficult emotions, you'll learn to make room for them while still moving toward the life and values that matter to you.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills: For depression tangled up with intense emotions, we teach practical skills for regulation, distress tolerance, and staying present.

Individual and group support: Some people do best one-on-one. Others find real relief in connecting with others who understand. We offer both.

Insurance & Access

We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and TRICARE. Coverage varies by state and plan, and we're happy to help you check your eligibility before your first session.

Why Telehealth Works

Depression already makes it hard to leave the house some days. Telehealth removes that barrier entirely. You get the same quality of care from your therapist, on your schedule, without the added weight of a commute or a waiting room.
